>>www.nationaltrust.org.uk - if you join the Scottish National Trust (currently with 25% discount for first year) it gives you access to all UK NT properties but is much cheaper to join. And.. a lot of car parks in Peak District are owned by NT so you can park here for free too.

>>I have just returned from holiday in the West country and found that loads of the carparks are national trust which you have to pay for. What I did was got a years membership online at www.nationaltrust.org.uk before I went, not only did I get A free pair of binoculars I also got 12 months membership for the price of 9 and the best thing apart from getting in all the properties for FREE was that we could use all the National trust car parks just by putting our membership card in the window or your sticker that they send you, we saved a fortune in car park fees it paid for the membership. They have carparks at properties and at Coast and countryside locations.
