Edward says (30th March 2009):
>>If you are going on holiday to USA or a euro country have a look at the Fairfx card.www.fairfx.com It is a prepaid card that you use like a debit or credit card or at cashpoints while you are away. You apply before you go and put money on it ,their rate is much better than the banks so your money goes further and with the rubbish exchange rates it really helps.
You can get a Free card (normally £9.95) subject to minimum initial load of £500.

Q & A

Topic: Money
Colin answers (10th August 2009):
A. I used the www.caxtonfxcard.com while on holiday in Spain this year, it was accepted everywhere and easy to top up.I did have one from www.fairfx.com when I went to America earlier this year and that was great and it does have a slightly better rate but does charge a small fee when you use it at ATMs but not if you use it in shops and restaurants.I would say look at them both, both are free to take out.
