Thanks so much for the reply. I will be starting my tube journey from Finchley Central as this is where I normally park when I visit London and then catch the tube everywhere.
Also does the shop have a name and where in the centre is it?

Thanks so much for the reply and info in the last post. I took a trip down on the weekend and bought a few items. i bought 6 items and onl paid £32.00. BARGAIN!. I just wished it was more local to me as I don't think I could make the trip all the time. I will definatley be keeping a note of this shop in my little book of bargain stores and sales.
If it wasn't for this website I wouldn't have ever known about it.

hi everyone, i went to the outlet store in edgware yesterday, after reading about it here, and it was TERRIBLE!! i knew it would be hit or miss anyway, but the shop was half empty and the stock that was left was still expensive, very old, badly damaged and just generally horrible! i traveled for a long time to get there, so if you live close by then fine, but i wouldn't suggest making a special journey! i guess i just went at a bad time, but just thought i would warn!
but can anyone give me details of any more topshop outlet stores?
thankyou xx

Just so you know, the Topshop outlet in Edgware is in the BroadWALK shopping centre. Also, I bought an Alice Mccall for Topshop dress gone from 50 to 15 in there! Amazing!

I like the way people go to a store once and then think they have the right to complain and criticize. The store gets a lot of stock every week. unless you go on the right days, you will obviously miss all the bargains and only see a half empty store! for a sale store its always very tidy, well staffed and laid out in an easy to shop way! go see for yourself before listening to others who complain, they probably have nothing better to do but complain...

To 'unknown'...
By all means I recommend people visiting the store for themselves, but I was just warning that it may not be worth making a long trip like I did. I was giving an an honest opinion of MY EXPERIENCE of the store ON THE DAY I WENT. I wasn't complaining and certainly have better things to do, unlike someone who criticizes someone else's point of view when it was supposed to be helpful.
***Jeanie Says***
Ok now! Play nicely you lot. We are supposed to be helping each other save money in dificult times.
I think yo have a very fair point Becky. Spending time and money to find the bargain is not there for you, can be very frustrating. You and 'Unknown' obviously had two entirely different experiences.

Hi everyone,
I would like to take a trip to the Edgware store but like Tillie, I would like to know what days of the week people would reccommend is the best time to visit?
Also, how cheap are the clothes in there? (price range?)
Thanks! =] x

Hi
I went to the shop last week and it was almost empty, they looked like they were closing down. I asked an assitant about the stock and she informed me that they were watitng on a big delivery which is due any day. I also asked her on a normal week what days are the best to visit the shop and she told me that Wednesdays and Saturdays are their delivery days. However, note that they hae not had delivery for three weeks hence the shop looking a empty. It was not a complete wasted trip, I got two lovely coats, a dress and a bag full of really funky jewellery.
Thanks

NH answers (23rd May 2009):

I've just returned from a trip to the Edgware Topshop store and have been very impressed. The store was well stocked today, everything was buy one get one free and there was lots of choice. I ended up getting 4 items worth £160 for £30. I will say that during my visit there were basically no shoes or jewellery there and about 1/3 of the shop was taken up with winter coats. It is mainly old stock and some of it is damaged but i think it was worth the trip. The sale assistant said that its the only one of its type in all the UK and while deliveries can come in twice a week (tues and fri) it can take time to process these deliveries so there is no "best day" to go.
Hope that helps anyone else planning to go.

Thanks guys this is so helpful!
I think I'll take a trip there v soon. I totally forgot that it existed and have just remembered!
Such a good idea tho, as much as I love Topshop, it can be really expensive at times and its nice to pay a bit less for things, especially someone like me who gets bored of things easily!
