Ok, I am going to declare a personal interest in this one straight away.

I am extremely proud of my brother, Paul. He has had an amazing career as 'a crime scene investigator', a phrase he coined over 20 years ago - long before any TV programme used the name.

His book Crime Scene Investigator is a fascinating account of his career from an enthusiastic young Scenes of Crime Officer(SOCO) with the Flying Squad to the UK's first CSI expert. His dedication to discover the truth, whether it leads to proof of guilt or innocence has been unfaltering throughout his career. A real life Gil Grissom (or Quincy for those of us with long memories).
