Cynthia says (10th July 2008):
>>With the price of petrol getting ever higher, get an ASDA credit card and save 2p per litre every time you use it to buy ASDA petrol. Anything helps to keep the price down. I just use my card for petrol and pay it off each month.

Wendy B says (30th June 2008):
>>Something you may want to warn people about. I have a lloyds TSB platinum card. I didn't recieve my bill last month. The card company took money from my account to cover the min payment without informing me or having my permission apparently they are allowed to do so. Many other people may not know they can do this.

Instant Interest
Jane says (28th May 2008):
>>I have had a letter through from ING Direct where I already have an account and they are offering a £25 bonus to any friends I introduce to them at www.ingdirect.co.uk/savings/ before 25 June. The minimum deposit is £500 in the account on the 26th June. So that is a 5% instant bonus even if you close the account after the 26th.
It is for new customers only (where have I heard that before) and the Promotion code is MGM010 and the Promotion ID is I1P6L7 . The account pays 6% as well for the first 12 months so with the bonus £500 would make 11% in the first year.

Tracy Shayler says (10th November 2007):
>>Did you know that Halifax Isa's give less interest on pass book accounts than internet/telephone accounts?
I have just changed my pass book account to a telephone account and increased interest rate from 4.76% to 5.75%, it was simple to do just give them a call.
