Teresa says (11th March 2010):
>>Hi Jeanie,
There is a cineworld cinema ticket offer at www.mycitydeal.co.uk
Go to the site and look on the home page and the details should be there. If your town isn't listed or the town that you've selected hasn't got the offer any more you can select another town(there's a drop down bar to select alternate towns). The tickets are £1 and can be used at any cineworld complex. The offer is valid from today until 25 April. You have to register, sign up, pay for your ticket and receive it by post 7 days after applying.Only one purchase can be made per person(i think!)
It's too good to miss!

Ann says (26th November 2009):
>>Hi
This is mainly for Welsh bargainhunters or regular visitors to wales.
CADW - the welsh equivalent of English Heritage have a long term deal. All their packages are available to purchase in full with TESCO rewards so a joint adult membership of £52 (£57 for a family) costs £12.50 in vouchers+£2 in cash. If it is a gift they get 15 months for the price of 12. If the person giving the gift is a member they get an extra 3 months free. All children, 5-16, who live in Wales, gets free entry to all CADW properties by filling in the form on the website and submitting it.
It gets better. All CADW members get half-price into English Heritage properties AND if you renew for a second year, you get FREE entry into English Heritage. There is also 10% discount on products in the shops. It doesn't seem to be reciprecated from English heritage though!
Great for a cheap trip out to let the kids enjoy the castles.
Regards Ann

Lisa says (10th August 2009):
>>You may have already heard about it but I thought this was a good saving for summer holidays whilst the kids are off school. so here goes...
This offer's £17 cheaper than using a standard 2for1 at Chessington which'd cost £66 for two adults and two kids (based on two adult on-the-day tickets, £33 each). You can also buy up to two additional individual tickets at £12.25 each, valid for an adult or child. It's first come, first served, so have a few dates in mind. The deal: £49 family ticket for four. Valid: On the day only. How: Call 08444 990 990 to book. Expires: 7 Sept. Excludes: N/A. Offer from: GMTV. Restrictions: Valid for up to two adults. Only valid for advance phone
bookings up to 7 Sept. Tickets subject to availability and non-refundable. Max. two family tickets per household.I have just booked this for my brother as they have a family of five plus another family of three, when booking we were allowed three extra tickets at £12.25 each not two as stated, and also children under five go free.
I hope this helps a few people.

| Bargain Spa Days
|
Colleen Ann says (5th August 2009):
>>Hi Jeanie, I hope the family are well. I have heard that www.lastminute.com (I still do not know how to add the link sorry) are having another £10 spa day tommorow the 6th of august it starts at 10am. Just the thing for frazzeled moms, regards Colleen Ann.
***Jeanie Says***
Thanks for that Colleen Ann. It actually mentions it on the first page, so a more detailed link is not necessary. To send a link, just highlight the address at the top of the page you want to show and copy it (press ctrl and c) and then paste it (press ctrl and v) into the tip you are sending. That usually works.

Havovy says (26th May 2009):
>>Gardeners World magazine (May 09) contains a card that allows 2 people for the price of 1 for entry to over 239 gardens. The card can be used repeatedly and is valid for one year. The magazine costs £3.50 and unless you are a RHS (Royal Horticultural society) member entrance per person per garden can be over £5. I think this is an excellent money saving opportunity.
Thanks for all your tips and advice. Hope the above helps others.
