chloe stoakes says (27th December 2007):
>>To get many items free the best website is freecycle, you just type in your local area and people who have items surplus to requirments post on here or you can say what your wanted items are. I got a Hamster cage for my daughter from here free and it was in perfect condition. The great thing about the site is it helps the landfills so you are doing your bit for the environment too!

dee says (30th December 2007):
>>Looked at it......v.long winded to join. First have to register with yahoo, then you have to join your local group by submitting a request to join and wait for a response.

Wouldn't bother with this.

Caron says (1st January 2008):
>>I've been a member for a couple of years now and I mainly use it for offloading my clutter - clothes, computers etc. Haven't managed to actually get anything free yet as it seems to go as soon as it is posted. I have also posted a couple of wants but had no luck. I will keep trying though!

melanie Cheetham says (10th January 2008):
>>Freecycle is brilliant. I have got rid of various stuff from christmas trees to craft materials, jigsaws, goldfish, pond plants and received food processor, pond plants, exercise bicycle!

M Harris says (13th January 2008):
>>I went everywhere to get rid of my baby's pram which was in great condition. Thought it would do someone a good turn. No charity shops, young person projects etc would have it due to health and safety! Someone suggested freecycle and we had so many responses. It is not difficult to set up particularly, and since it has saved us lots of trips to the tip! Worth doing.

Margaret Marks says (29th January 2008):
>>Freecycle - I have been using this for a year now and it is the most amazing site I have ever subscribed to. I have received some fabulous items completely free and have off loaded things I would have taken to the tip.

regards
Mags

M Way says (1st June 2008):
>>Really isn't long winded to join freecycle, and is well worth the effort. People come and collect your junk (at your convenience)plus you can get hold of stuff you need for free! And its doing something positive for the environment!
